Computer Help · Donvale & Melbourne's East
Email, printers, Wi-Fi, scams, slow or dead PCs, new-computer setups — fixed at your place around Donvale, usually same or next day. No fix, no fee. And when you need something built, I do software too.
These are the jobs I actually get called out for, most often first. Don't see yours? Ask anyway — if I can't help I'll tell you who can.
Can't send or receive? Outlook won't open? Moving to a new provider or a new PC? Email is the number one thing I fix.
Learn more →Printer showing offline, stopped working after a router or Windows change, or a new one still in the box — I'll get it printing and scanning from every device.
Learn more →Clicked a dodgy link or let someone 'from Microsoft' onto your computer? I'll clean it, secure your accounts, and give you a written all-clear for your bank.
Learn more →No internet, Wi-Fi that drops out in half the house, a new modem still in the box, or a network drive nobody can find — sorted.
Learn more →Won't turn on, won't boot, stuck on an update, running slow or crashing — desktops, laptops and gaming PCs, fixed at your place where possible.
Learn more →Bought a new PC or laptop? I'll set it up properly, move everything from the old one, and get email, printer and Office working before I leave.
Learn more →Old laptop won't boot but the photos are on it? I'll get your data off, and set up a backup so it never happens again.
Learn more →Email not arriving on your iPhone, pop-ups on your Android, an app you can't find on the TV — I help with the small screens too.
Learn more →Sit-down sessions at your own pace: what's safe to click, how to bookmark, using new apps — seniors especially welcome.
Learn more →Staff laptops, Microsoft 365, business email on your own domain, shared files and office printers — practical IT for small teams without a retainer.
Learn more →Ubuntu or Kubuntu installs, dual-boot, custom PC assembly and part upgrades — for people who want something other than the default.
Learn more →Shopify stores, small-business websites, custom web apps, and bringing old apps and spreadsheets into the browser. Designed, built and hosted by me.
Packages & pricing →Shopify stores, small-business websites, custom web apps, and bringing old apps and spreadsheets into the browser. Designed, built and hosted by me. Fixed-price packages from $600, or hourly for updates and rewrites — and a portfolio of live apps you can click on.
Book online, call or email. A sentence or two is plenty — I'll ask the rest.
A fixed appointment time, usually the same or next day — at your home or office, anywhere in the service area.
I fix it, show you what happened, and leave notes. Tap your card at the end of the visit — and if it comes back within 14 days, I come back for free.
Free, plain-English guides for the most common calls I get — a scam pop-up, no internet, printer offline, email stopped. Try them first; if it's too hard, book and I'll come to you.
Most computer-help outfits won't tell you the price until they're at your door. Here's mine.
The service fee covers travel anywhere in the service area. Time is billed in 15-minute blocks, so you only pay for what the job actually takes — many are done well inside the hour.
If I can't fix the problem you booked me for, you don't pay for the labour. Simple.
If the same problem comes back within 14 days, I return and sort it at no charge.
Same or next day where possible, and I turn up when I say I will — not "sometime between 8 and 5".
Approximate service area — roughly 30 minutes' drive from Donvale.
A bit further out? Ask — I can usually make it work.
